Trinidadian entertainer Payge Turner’ s journey on the Voice has ended . During the first round of live performances, seventeen mega talented singers regaled the voting public with their vocal dexterity and their commanding stage presence as they competed for one of the coveted nine spots.
Turner’s appearance highlighted the spheres of her voice and artistry as she played the guitar. Her coach Gwen Stefani described her impressive spin on NSYNC’s It’s Gonna Be Me as reminiscent of the late Prince.
On elimination night fifteen-year-old Carter Rubin automatically advanced with the highest number of votes from Team Gwen. Turner’s high vote account allowed her another opportunity to remain in the running. Unfortunately, her rendition of Barbadian icon’s Rihanna’s Diamond for the Wild Card Instant Save failed and she exited the show.
Caribbean Entertainment Hub congratulates Payge Turner for her thrilling performances and success on NBC’s ‘the Voice’. Though her journey may have ended there, we anxiously look forward to the next leg of her quest in making it to the pinnacle of her chosen profession and wishes her all the best.
