Jamaican Cricketer Chris Gayle Lands #1 Hit Song in India

Written by: Nekisha Cyrus

West Indies Cricket Star turned Artiste, Chris Gayle lands a #1 hit on the top of the charts in India with his brand new collaboration ‘Jamaica To India’ alongside popular Indian Rap Artiste Emiway Bantai. With the official music video released on April 11, 2021, to date, it has already racked up an amazing 20 million views and counting on YouTube.

It seems like music has always been a passion for the records breaking batsman, as he recorded his first single ‘We Heroes’, which was a collaboration with Akash Mehta for a UNICEF campaign back in 2016. Today, the Jamaican Cricketer aka ‘The UniverseBoss’ continues to make his strides on the music circuit, proving that he is definitely taking this new venture very seriously. In 2020, he created his new record label ‘Triple Century Records’ and was even featured on British-Jamaican Dancehall Recording artiste, Stylo G ‘Too Hot Celebrity’ remix.

In February 2021, he released his new single ‘Blessings’, a thankful song that he wanted to share with his fans, especially after the onset of negativity that came with 2020 while encouraging everyone to stay positive and committed to their goals as they move forward.

When it comes to hard work and dedication, Gayle has already proven that he has what it takes as seen throughout his cricket career. As we at CEH congratulate the UniverseBoss on his chart-topping accomplishment in India, we continue to look forward to many more new releases. And it seems like we won’t have to look too far, as he has already announced via social media, his new single ‘Choco Loco’ remix alongside Recording artiste Camar Flava which is officially out now.
